Are your chocolates made in Belgium?
Yes, our chocolates are crafted in Belgium, following traditional methods perfected over generations. We are dedicated to preserving the rich heritage of Belgian chocolate-making while continually innovating to offer new flavors and products.
Please note: We do sometimes sell chocolate from our sister factories in Germany. These products will be clearly labeled as made in Germany.
What ingredients do you use?
We use the finest cocoa beans sourced from sustainable farms, natural sweeteners (beet sugar), and non-GMO ingredients. Our commitment to quality ensures that every piece of chocolate delivers an exceptional taste experience.
Is your chocolate organic or fair trade?
Our chocolates are made from sustainably sourced cocoa. While not all of our products are certified organic or fair trade, we work closely with suppliers who prioritize ethical practices, sustainability, and fair wages for cocoa farmers.
What allergens are present in your chocolates?
Our chocolates are made in a facility that handles milk products. In the past, we have used tree nuts in specialty products on some lines, but there are currently no products containing tree nuts. Our factory is gluten free and peanut free. Although we take precautions to avoid cross-contamination, individuals with severe allergies should exercise caution. Always check the product packaging for detailed allergen information.

Do your chocolates contain dairy?
Some of our chocolates, particularly milk chocolates, contain dairy. However, our dark chocolate varieties are often dairy-free and suitable for those looking for a vegan option. Please refer to the specific product descriptions for details on dairy content.
Is the packaging recyclable?
We believe that great chocolate deserves great packaging that will preserve the freshness. Our Napolitains are individually wrapped in recyclable polypropylene foil. All papers and cardboards used for shipping are FSC certified and recyclable.
What is the shelf life of your chocolates?
Our chocolates have a typical shelf life of 12 to 18 months, thanks to our packaging methods that preserve freshness. For optimal taste, we recommend storing them in a cool, dry place and consuming them within the best-before date indicated on the packaging. However, this is not an expiration date. With proper storing, chocolate will remain edible well past its best-before date.

What Genus/Species/Strain probiotic is used in production?
We use Bifidobacterium longum subsp. longum BB536, which is one of the most well-established and clinically effective probiotic strains, providing numerous benefits to human health. BB536 has a proven track record of safety and efficacy in improving gastrointestinal, immunological, and infectious conditions, as demonstrated in more than 260 scientific studies (as of March 2024).
